Would you believe it? It is nearly mid-February, what means the Valentine day is approaching and unfortunately this year it means no fancy dinners in the restaurant or surprise trips to nice places.  This year it will be all about staying cosy at home and have a fancy dinner at home. But might be we got used to it already when we already celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries in our homes. But if you are still struggling what to wear for home parties and celebrations to make it even more special, here is some inspiration to help you to decide.

Stay At Home Celebration

Why should we put on site any celebration? It doesn’t matter where we are we still can and we should make it fancy. Like Christmas, we stay at home but we still dress up. Why it should be different from any other celebration? No matter how many people are invited, it can be only 2 of you, or if you can invite for your birthday only your closest family, there is still nice to dress up and celebrate. It will lift up our mood and we appreciate the love and any other milestone.

Outfit Inspiration

For a nice dinner at home, you don’t need to go over the board. You can dress up your jeans with the flowy top and a touch of lipstick. And when you put the heels on, you won’t be thinking so badly that you don’t go anywhere.  Or if you prefer dresses, wear your little black dress with heels. It will be actually nice to stay at home as you don’t need to wear any jacket on top.

Extra Touch

When it comes to dressing I am fully hands-on for a minimalist look as much as possible, but even minimalists can dress up their basic pieces. Red lipstick is the first accessory what I would reach for. If you like to add a personal touch, try to tie your hair with the scarf. It won’t be in the way while you eat, but it gives you a different look.

So do you still think celebrating at home can be pretty boring? I don’t think so, we dress for ourself, the clothes should make us feel better and stand out. So put the nice clothes on even this Valentine’s day and celebrate as you were at a special place. Because home is our special place.
