Fall is definitely here in most of the countries and with adding extra layers we tend to change the colour of our clothes as well. And if it’s not a full wardrobe, we might crave the change by adding more autumnal colour. Shades of red, or bright red. The red can add brightness to shorter days. It might be quite a strong colour, not meant for everyone, but if you like to add any colour, red can be a good choice as it goes hand in hand with black and neutral colours. I found a few lovely pieces that would be easy to combinate with the neutral pieces and in classic shapes to last for many years.

If you are not sure if red is the right colour for you, you can start small to taste the feeling of it. Scarf, shoes or bags are the best pieces to start with as they are easily worn and are not big statement pieces. Unless you want to make it so.  Or you can even with as little as red lipstick or nail polish. Just to try how does it feel to wear a red if you are not used to it. But if red is your colour and you are sure about adding more pieces, you can go for a full red suit in combination with a more neutral colour. Black is always a good choice.

Shades of Red

I do get you if you think the bright red is not your cup of tea, but you can start slow with dusty pink, rose pink or even burgundy are shades of red. And if you decide to stay with red nail polish and bright red lips, welcome to the grid as that’s how far I’ll go too. It is extremely stylish to wear it confidently with your all-black outfit ❤.
