The story began back in 2014 when founder Sara Hall, took her creativity and determination and focused her passion for fashion, heritage products and exquisite craftsmanship into a project to develop beautiful tweed children’s capes. Turning her frustrations as a new mum looking for beautiful, stylish and practical toddler clothing into a new business venture, Cocoon Luxe.

Women’s Collection

Soon her eye for exceptional design and refreshing approach to style trends naturally led to a luxury ready-to-wear women’s outerwear collection – and so, Sands & Hall was born in 2015.

Sara and her husband and business partner, David, took the decision to focus on the brand’s core values of luxury, versatility and timeless elegance and concentrate on using the finest quality wools, including Irish and British tweeds and cashmere coupled with the exquisite design that reinvents classic looks.

This approach has led to collections of capes and coats bursting with unique style, trend-setting ensembles and aspirational fabric and tonal choices, which have featured in Vogue, Red Online, FT’s how to spend it, The Irish Times, Country & Town House and many more.
